We are pleased to inform you that Jefferson Area Local Schools will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2026-2027.
What does this mean for you and your children?
Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students of Jefferson Area Local Schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2026-2027 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

Pay Schools Central
Jefferson Area Local School District participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which provides breakfast and lunch at no cost to all enrolled students.
PaySchools Central remains available for families who wish to place funds in a student's account for the purchase of à la carte items, snacks, and other food-service purchases.
Parents and guardians can use PaySchools Central to:
