Message from the Principal

Jefferson Elementary School is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child can achieve academic and personal success. Through high-quality instruction, evidence-based literacy and mathematics programs, and a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), we work to meet the unique needs of every learner while fostering growth, confidence, and a love of learning.

Our dedicated staff partners with families to create a positive school culture that promotes student achievement, strong character, and lifelong success. As we continue to strengthen our instructional practices, expand collaborative teaching, and enhance behavioral and social-emotional supports, our goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Message to Parents
Jefferson Elementary School has implemented a new process for requesting an extended leave for students taking trips or vacations during the school year. We are currently working on a new attendance policy to better support students who will be on vacation or experiencing an extended absence from school. As part of this process, we are planning to provide students and families with an opportunity to stay connected with their learning while they are away. Click here for more information and form.
